In my art, I aim to create portraits of pets that capture the essence of their personality. All animals have their own unique character and what makes artistic creations of them fun is trying to capture their little quirks and mannerisms; especially those in a pet which you love about that animal.

I love drawing, painting and photographing my own pet dogs; they are a constant source of inspiration in my artwork and give me never ending material from which to work. Pets are such fun and it is hard to be without them for too long. When my pet dog, Kane died 2 years ago, all I could do to ease my pain and grief was to draw and paint him over and over again.
